Pause on Student Loan Repayment Extended

In December President Biden extended the pause on student loan repayment for another 90 days. It was set to expire on January 31, 2022 but will now be extended until May 1, 2022.

The interest rate on loans will continue at 0%, no payments are required, and any collection efforts are suspended. The suspension has now been in effect since March of 2020 and applies to more than 36 million Americans who have federal student loans.
