Ms. Wendy Akbar is an accomplished intellectual property attorney, with extensive experience in all facets of IP litigation and pre-litigation cease and desist, licensing, and negotiation stages; trademark and copyright clearance, prosecution and protection in the U.S. Patent & Trademark and U.S. Copyright Offices; and representing clients as to overall brand strategy and protection.

Ms. Akbar has experience with intellectual property matters across multiple industries and technologies such as retail website functionality, multimedia, food and beverage science and products, artificial intelligence, computer hardware and software, dental and optical businesses and practices, restaurants and mobile food trucks, online gaming and gambling, semiconductor devices and processes, beauty/cosmetics products, transportation-related technology, hydroponics, pharmaceutical products, medical devices, clothing, sporting goods, and other industries. 

Ms. Akbar graduated with High Honors from Swarthmore College and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Ms. Akbar handles a wide range of Intellectual Property matters, including trademark, trade secret, copyright, advertising, and unfair competition.  In addition, Ms. Akbar represents clients in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and U.S. Trademark Trial & Appeal Board.
